The Wine Yacht Launch Event!
The Wine Yacht was successfully launched on October 13th 2011 with a dockside evening celebration at the Westin Bayshore Marina. In attendance were various local and national media, and business associates of The Sunset Bay Yacht Group.
Guests sipped various premium wines and indulged in expertly paired gourmet small plates created by Executive Chef Natasha Harris.
Using locally sourced ingredients, Chef Harris created a special menu drawing on inspiration from various countries around the world. These International Tasting Stations featured dishes from Italy, Argentina, New Zealand, Australia, British Columbia and France. Wines included in the soiree were Painted Rock Chardonnay (BC), Domaine de Vaugondy (France), Majella Cabernet Sauvignon (Aus), Catena Zapata Malbec (Argentina), Ata Rangi Crimson Pinot Noir (NZ) and Produttori del Barbaresco, Langhe Nebbiolo (Italy).
